I was born restless, with an insatiable need to travel, whether it was to distant lands or just getting out of the house. Armed with a definite purpose I am still unsure of – or perhaps afraid of – my camera and my writing are like lifelong companions. It’s my compass for truth. I share everything in my writing and it has given my little life some meaning.

Similarly to the way an artist draws his subject, I use my camera to sketch what I see. It allows me to document, immortalise and appreciate all those who make up my life. And most importantly, to share that vision with others. People-watching is one of my favourite activities, as we are all so very complex and fascinating. Understanding how and why we behave the way we do, what makes us tick and where we come from. One of my greatest mentors taught me patience and waiting for my picture to unfold in front of me. And so I do. I savour every moment. Taking pictures is both a privilege and a passion.

And so my blog is a little space I have carved out where I can share what I think, how I feel and what I see. I hope you love it as much as I do.
